is caffeine really an addiction
i dont know.
iwas thinking about it last night. and i started wondering.
i think its more psychological. i mean, how can you actually become addicted to coke or pepsi? i will admit that when i drink a caffeinated drink, i feel a little more relaxed. but i dont necessarily think it's addicting where you would go into withdrawal...or something like that...
what do you guys think?

my friend cant go a day without coke another cant go a day without coffee. but i dont think its an addiction i too think its psychological. just like i think panadol/asprin is in realality it never cures a headach but people take it anyway just coz they think it will.

i think its an addiction for some people.
my parents both drink coffee every day and i'm sure if i switched it one day with decaf they would know right away.
i dont drink caffeinated soda (or really any soda anymore) and whenever i have coffee, which is almost never, i get decaf.

i think people can get addicted to anything. why do we always eat chocolate if we have an opportunity? why do we always listen to music if we have an opportunity? its because we're used to doing it. when i went to the doctor, i was told i had to cut down on fruit, sweets and fizzy drinks to help save my bowel ha ha. it took about a week but now i never eat chocolate (i have had some since its easter) i dont drink fizzy drinks or eat any fruit. its just like a routine thing that you automatically do without thinking and when people wake up, they think they have to drink coffee
