you get a fine-toothed comb and comb each section you want to dread backwards, like a million times. then it starts looking like a dread and you twist and wax it. it takes HOURS to do the entire head

yea. the problem is that my hair gets all crazy when i try to grow it out. i may go back to short hair and sport a mohawk instead. because there's no way i'm going from wanting dreds to a normal haircut.
